Never give up like ELECTRIC

There's always been a day in your life where you feel like, "Maybe I'm not worth it all? Maybe I won't be able to make it till the end". Giving up easily? I did too...I felt so lost.....I felt like a complete couch potato.

 

As kids, we would all have watched Mr. Bean's series. He went from zero to hero. Is it just that easy? No...Hard work! His real-life name is Rowan Atkinson. At first, when he tried to get into the industry, he was rejected and bullied because of the way he looks and his difficulty in speaking(stutter).

He did not give up just because others were not able to look at his real talents. He then started his OWN show (Mr. Bean) and the rest is history!!. I'm still a fan of Mr.Bean !!! Reading his story right now might be simple but implementing it is not that easy.

 

As kids, we all love Mr.Bean. Now, shall we go back and listen to a very old but true story of a person that we learned back at school?

 

Yes!! And the song of the day is Electric by Katy Perry. This is a true story with imaginary dialogues. We all know this story, but for a sec shall we travel along with it?

Long, long ago, there lived a cute little boy named TAE. He loved going to school! He was a very curious child and loved learning new things. One day at school, his teacher called him and asked "TAE! Is everything fine? ".He replied, "Yes!! I enjoy learning. I'm fascinated by all this technology! Can you tell me more about that? ". With no reaction on his face, the teacher gave him a letter and said, "Yes... Ugh...But, I have a small piece of work for you. It's easy. You'll do it right?" With lots of energy, cute little TAE said "Yes sir!!!!" The teacher then gave him a letter and said, "I want you to give this letter to your mother and remember! It's not right to read others' letters. Okay?".TAE replied, yes sir, and left home.

“ In the dark when you feel lost

Wanna be the best but at what cost?

If you're gonna stay here

Nothing's ever changing, “

 Back home, he told his mom what happened and gave this letter to her. It filled her eyes with tears. What was there? The teacher wrote "Your son is addled . We won’t let him come to school anymore." What's worse than a mom being told that her son has a mental problem?

“ Big world, gotta see it all
Gotta get up even when you fall
There's no point in waiting, “

Seeing his mamma cry, TAE asked, "What happened, mom? Are you okay?".With lots of pain in her heart, she didn't know what to say. All she was thinking about was her son's future!

 She smiled and replied, “The teacher said: Your son is a genius. This school is too small for him and doesn’t have enough good teachers for training him. Please teach him yourself." Little TAE got happy and sad at the same time. He asked his mom, "Then who will teach me, mom? Will I ever be able to learn new things? "

“ They'll try to bring you down
(Oh) But you've got the power now “

“I’ll teach you, son! I’ll be your tutor from now on. So get ready!! Let’s make this even more fun and learn so many things just like how my little TAE wanted to!! Go..get your books!! This confidence boosted TAE and his journey started from there!

 TAE also had hearing problems at the age of 12. With one ear deaf, he did struggle a lot but found ways to overcome that.  As he got older, his hearing loss helped him to avoid distractions and concentrate more on his work.

Many years later, his mother passed away, but he became a great person. One day, he had some ideas and started working on them. Guess what?? He failed. He felt lost! He closed his eyes. All he could think about was his mother, who taught him everything. He opened his diary and was staring at a single line! What was there?

 One day, when TAE was checking his cupboard, he found a letter and …..you guessed it right! It was the same letter that his teacher gave him years back. That day, looking at his letter, he became upset. He then opened his diary and wrote “TAE was an addled child that, by a hero mother, became the genius of the century.”

“ Head strong, but your heart is stronger

Stay calm walking through the fire

I know you're gonna make it out “

This line that he wrote ,lit him up! Keeping his mom in mind, he continued even after his failure. Day after day, he kept failing again and again...

But the confidence never went down.

One fine day, after 10,000 attempts, he did!!

Days later, a news reporter asked him how he felt for failing so many attempts. He replied, “I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” 

 

His invention was the greatest invention of the century. The Light bulb by the great scientist TAE - Thomas Alva Edison

Edison faced many ups and downs, but never gave up! He believed he could do it, and he did prove it! He taught us all an important lesson. The power of never giving up. The power of chasing your dreams. Let’s get motivated by TAE and believe “We can do it!” .
